Euskampus Bordeaux Eguna online 2020

2020 edition
Euskampus Bordeaux Eguna 2020 will be held on October 30. We would like to be able to bring together the whole Euskampus Bordeaux community at a large meeting, as we did at the two previous editions, in Donostia-San Sebastián and Bordeaux. However, this year we opted for a short online format that will allow us to keep track of the status of our Alliance and to keep our finger on the pulse of the many ongoing collaborations.
At this Euskampus-Bordeaux Eguna we will fire the txupinazo (starting pistol) to mark a great year. The 2020-21 academic year will be the tenth anniversary of the launch of the UPV/EHU, TECNALIA and the DIPC Euskampus Campus of International Excellence, and the start of the Cross-border Campus with the University of Bordeaux.

The tentative programme is as follows:
- 09:45 - 10:00 - Start of the stream and welcome
- 10:00 - 10:40 - COVID round table: COVID round table: researchers from the University of Bordeaux and the University of the Basque Country will discuss the effects and challenges of this global pandemic on and for research, the University and the Euskampus Bordeaux alliance
- 10:40 - 11:15 - Euskampus COVID-19 Resilience programme: projects selected (Olivier Pujolar and Ricardo Díez - Lead Researchers of the projects)
- 11:15 - 11:30 - Break
- 11:30 - 11:40 - Ocean i3 Project
- 11:40 - 11:50 - Progress of the ENLIGHT Project (Marta Barandiaran and Joanne Pagèze)
- 11:50 - 12:20 - Laboratories for Trans-Border Cooperation (LTC): presentation of new LTCs and progress at the existing laboratories (Philippe Moretto and Fernando Tapia - Lead LTC Researchers)
- 12:20- 12:30 - Presentation of Euskampus Bordeaux Eguna Urte Nagusia 2021
- 12:30 - 13:00 - Institutional close of the Euskampus Bordeaux Eguna event (Nekane Balluerka, Manuel Tuñon de Lara, Iñaki San Sebastián, Ricardo Díez, representatives from the Basque Government and the Nouvelle Aquitaine Government)
- 13:00 - 13:10 End of stream
Speakers
The following speakers will take part in the COVID round table:
- Marie-Line Andreola - Co-director of the MFP laboratory.
- Rodolphe Thiebaud - Director of Bordeaux Population Health (BPH) and the public health department of the University of Bordeaux.
- Sara de la Rica - Professor of Economics at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and a Director of ISEAK.
- Joseba Laka - Director of the ICT Division / European Software Institute at TECNALIA Research & Innovation.
- Joanne Pagèze - Vice-President for Internationalisation at the University of Bordeaux, President of 'EAIE Expert Community Language and Culture for the 2020-2022 term.
The event will be broadcast in four languages and simultaneous translation will be provided.
