EmpACT i3 project is born, Employability with imPACT

EmPACT i3 , "EMPleability with impACTo", is an initiative that involves university students from various disciplines, teachers and public and private actors.

Its objective is to develop knowledge and skills in future professionals to address the challenges of transition in the cross-border territory between Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the Basque Country.

The project is based on the Challenge Based Education (CBE) approach, and focuses on three main areas: ocean health and sustainability with a focus on plastic pollution, marine renewable energy and circular economy. Students work on teacher-led research projects and carry out associate micro-projects in collaboration with entities across the border.

The project is developed by the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU-Euskadi, the University of Bordeaux-Nouvelle Aquitaine and Euskampus Fundazioa within the framework of the strategic alliance Campus Euskampus Bordeaux, with funding from the Interreg Programme POCTEFA VI (2021-2027).
