Pedro Miguel Etxenike, Chair of the UPV/EHU and  President of the DIPC, will give a talk entitled â€œScientific Research of Excellence. A Country’s Vision” on 8th June at the “Smart, an innovative strategy for Euskadi” seminar, organised by Innobasque. This seminar will analyse advances in the deployment of the Basque Country’s RIS3 smart specialisation strategy, which includes three priorities (advanced manufacturing, health-biosciences and energy) and four opportunity territories (nutrition, cultural and creative industries, urban habitat and ecosystems). Kevin Morgan, Professor at Cardiff University and advisor to the European Commission, will also take part, providing an external point of view on the deployment and implementation of RIS3. Pedro Miguel Etxenikek, EHUko katedradunak eta DIPCko presidenteak “Bikaintasuneko ikerketa zientifikoa. Herrialde ikuspegi bat” hitzaldia emango du ekainaren 8an. Hitzaldi hau Innobasquek antolatutako “Espezializazio inteligentea, Euskadirentzako estrategia berritzaile bat” jardunaldiaren barne kokatzen da. Bertan, RIS3 espezializazio inteligentearen estrategia hedatzearen aurrerapausoak aztertuko dira. Hor batzen dira hiru lehentasun (fabrikazio aurreratua, osasuna-biozientzia eta energia) eta lau aukera eremu (elikadura, kultura eta sormen industriak, hiri habitata eta ekosistemak). Jardunaldian parte hartuko dutenen artean Kevin Morgan egongo da, Cardiffeko Unibertsitateko irakaslea eta Europear Komisioko aholkularia, Euskadin RIS3ak duen hedapena eta betearazpenaren kanpo ikuspegia emanez. Una visión de País" el próximo 8 de junio en la jornada  â€œEspecialización inteligente, una estrategia innovadora para Euskadi”, organizada por Innobasque. Dentro de esta jornada, se analizarán los avances del despliegue de la estrategia de especialización inteligente RIS3 de Euskadi, que recoge tres prioridades (fabricación avanzada, biociencias-salud y energía) y cuatro territorios de oportunidad (alimentación, industrias culturales y creativas, hábitat urbano y ecosistemas). Entre otros ponentes de la jornada, también estará Kevin Morgan, profesor de la Universidad de Cardiff y asesor de la Comisión Europea, que aportará una visión externa sobre el despliegue y ejecución RIS3 en Euskadi. “The sea and renewable energies and the contribution of Naval and Oceanic Engineering” workshops organised by ENERMAR (PAT18 Marine Renewable Energies, working group of the Spanish Naval and Oceanic Engineers Official Association) will be held on 30th June and 1st July. The event will be held in the Aula Magna at the Bilbao Engineering School and will include prestigious speakers in the field. Registration will be managed by the Ingeniero Jorge Juan Foundation and the price will vary between Professional Registrations (€395) and reduced price for COIN Associates and AINE Associates (€295). There will also be discounts of up to 50% (for the unemployed or participants in the ENERMAR Award) as well as discounts for companies (10% for 3 participants in a group and 20% for 5 participants in a group). Apart from that, there will also be grants for UPV/EHU students. These grants will be managed by the Ingeniero Jorge Juan Foundation.

Espainiako Itsasontzigintza eta Itsas Ingeniarien Elkarteak eta Elkargoak, ENERMAR (Itsas Jatorriko Energia Berriztagarrien PAT 18) lan taldearen bidez, antolatutako â€œItsasoa eta energia berriztagarriak, Itsasontzigintza eta Itsas Ingeniaritzaren ekarpena” jardunaldiak izango dira ekainaren 30ean eta uztailaren 1ean. Aipatutako ekitaldia Bilboko Ingeniaritza Eskolaren areto nagusian egingo da, eta gaian aditu handiak ariko dira hizlari gisa. Izen emateak Fundación Ingeniero Jorge Juan delakoak kudeatuko ditu. Ekitaldiarengatik prezio desberdinak ordainduko dira: inskripzio profesionalak (395 €); prezio merkeagoa izango da COIN elkargokideentzat eta AINE elkartekideentzat (295€). Bestalde, % 50eko deskontu bereziak izango dira hala egitea eskatu eta egoera berezian daudenentzat: langabetuak eta ENERMAR sariko parte hartzaileak, enpresentzako deskontuak (% 10 taldean bertaratutako 3 lagunentzat eta %20 taldean bertaratutako 5 kiderentzat).
