No vacancies left for the UPV/EHU summer course “Evaluation of the research activity and support initiatives for researchers”, developed using the Leiden Manifest as a reference document. The course, which is co-organised by Euskampus Fundazioa and the DIPC, will take place on 19th and 20th July at the Miramar Palace in Donostia-San Sebastian. The course organisers would like to express their most sincere thanks to the UPV/EHU Summer Course School and the participation of all speakers and attendees.

“Ikerketa aktibitatearen ebaluazioa eta ikertzaileak babesteko iniziatibak”, Leidengo manifestua hartuta garatu den UPV/EHUren udako ikastarorako plaza guztiak bete dira. Euskampus Fundazioak eta DIPCek elkarlanean antolatutako ikastaro hau uztailaren 19 eta 20an emango da Donostiako Miramar jauregian. Ikastaroaren antolakuntzak UPV/EHUren Udako Ikastaroen Eskolaren laguntza eta hizlari eta parte hartzaile guztien konpromisoa eskertu nahi ditu.

Se han cubierto todas las plazas disponibles para el curso de verano de la UPV/EHU â€œEvaluación de la actividad investigadora e iniciativas de apoyo al investigador”, desarrollado con el Manifiesto de Leiden como documento de referencia. El curso organizado conjuntamente por Euskampus Fundazioa y el DIPC tendrá lugar los días 19 y 20 de julio en el Palacio Miramar de San Sebastián. La organización del curso quiere agradecer la colaboración de la Escuela de Cursos de Verano de la UPV/EHU y la implicación de todos los ponentes y asistentes.

The University of Vigo and the UPV/EHU have signed an agreement to set up the Spanish EMBRC node. The agreement was signed on Friday 10th June at the Toralla Marine Sciences Station (ECIMAT) in Pontevedra. The goal of the EMBRC (where ECIMAT and PIE, Plentzia Marine Station will be integrated) is to become a unique door to access the ecosystems of all the seas in Europe. Salustiano Mato (Rector of the University of Vigo), Iñaki Goirizelaia (Rector of the UPV/EHU) and Jesús Souza Troncoso (ECIMAT Director) participated in the signing ceremony.

Vigoko Unibertsitateak eta UPV/EHUk EMBRCren nodo espainiarra sortzeko hitzarmen bat sinatu dute. Akordioa ekainaren 10ean gauzatu zen Marinas de Torallako Itsas Zientzien Estazioan (ECIMAT), Pontevedran. EMBRCek ECIMAT eta PIE (Plentziako Itsas Estazioa) batuko ditu eta bere helburua Europako itsas guztien ekosistemetarako sarbide bakarra bilakatzea da. Salustiano Matok (Vigoko Unibertsitateko errektorea), Iñaki Goirizelaiak (UPV/EHUko errektorea) eta Jesus Souza Troncosok (ECIMATeko zuzendaria) sinatu zuten hitzarmena.

La Universidad de Vigo y la UPV/EHU han firmado un convenio para la constitución del nodo español de EMBRC. El acuerdo se formalizó el pasado viernes 10 de junio en la Estación de Ciencias Marinas de Toralla (ECIMAT), Pontevedra. El objetivo del EMBRC (donde estarán integrados ECIMAT  y PIE, Estación Marina de Plentzia) es convertirse en una puerta única de acceso a los ecosistemas de todos los mares de Europa. En el acto de la firma participaron Salustiano Mato (rector de la  Universidad de Vigo), Iñaki Goirizelaia (rector de la Universidad del País Vasco) y Jesús Souza Troncoso (director de ECIMAT).
