The fifth workshop for the Bordeaux-Euskampus Community of co-supervised PhDs and their supervisors was held in Bordeaux on the 12th and 13th of December 2016. This workshop is the fifth one in a series of workshops designed to train young researchers in transversal skills, and it was focused on “Designing and Producing a Research Publication”. These workshops are unique opportunities and the best scenario to foster face-to-face conversations and discussion among young researchers and build a vibrant Euro-regional community. 2016ko abenduaren 12an eta 13an, elkarrekin babestutako tesiei eta euren ikuskatzaileei buruzko bosgarren tailerra egin zen Bordelen, Euskampus-Bordeleko Komunitatearentzat. Tailer hori, hain zuzen, gazte ikertzaileak zeharkako trebetasunetan gaitzeko diseinatutako bosgarrena izan zen, eta "Ikerlan baten argitalpena diseinatzea eta ekoiztea" izan zuen ardatz nagusi. Tailer horiek aukera paregabeak eta gune ezin hobeak dira gazte ikertzaileen arteko eztabaida eta aurrez aurreko elkarrizketak sustatzeko, bai eta euroeskualdeko komunitate kartsu bat eraikitzeko ere. El quinto taller destinado a la Comunidad Burdeos-Euskampus de doctorados cosupervisados y sus supervisores tuvo lugar en Burdeos los días 12 y 13 de diciembre de 2016. Este taller es el quinto de una serie de talleres destinados a formar a jóvenes investigadores sobre las competencias transversales y se ha centrado en el “Diseño y elaboración de una publicación de investigación”. Estos talleres brindan oportunidades únicas y el mejor escenario para fomentar las conversaciones cara a cara y el debate entre jóvenes investigadores y ayudan a crear una vibrante comunidad eurorregional. The Regional Government of Navarra has awarded the Gold Medal of Navarra to the physicist Pedro Miguel Etxenike, professor at the UPV/EHU, Chairman of the DIPC and Vice-President of the Euskampus Fundazioa. The physicist, born in Isaba, has been recognised for his intellectual, scientific and human dimension and the research and dissemination work he has developed in the field of physics. Furthermore, the award decree highlights that Etxenike is one of the most recognised and award winning scientists from Navarra, who has brilliantly addressed different issues related to physics in conjunction with his excellent dissemination work and his social and cultural commitment. This honour can be added to the Prince of Viana Culture Award or the Prince of Asturias Award for Scientific and Technical Research, among other awards previously won by the physicist from the Roncal Valley. 

Nafarroako Foru Gobernuak Pedro Miguel Etxenike UPV/EHUko katedradun, DIPCko presidente eta Euskampus Fundazioko presidenteordeari eman dio Nafarroako Urrezko Domina. Dominarekin, Etxenike fisikari izabarraren alderdi intelektuala, zientifikoa eta humanoa nabarmendu nahi izan dute, eta balioa eman diete fisikaren arloan egin dituen ikerketa eta dibulgazio lanei. Gainera, domina emateko dekretuan azpimarratzen denez, Etxenike orain arte aitorpen eta sari gehien jaso duten nafar zientzialarietako bat da, eta bikain jorratu ditu fisikaren gai desberdinak, dibulgazio lan apartak eginez eta konpromiso sozial eta kulturala erakutsiz. Fisikariak, besteak beste, Kulturaren Vianako Printzea Saria eta Ikerketa Zientifiko eta Teknikoaren Asturiasko Printzea Saria eskuratu ditu aurretik. 

El Gobierno Foral de Navarra ha concedido la Medalla de Oro de Navarra al físico Pedro Miguel Etxenike, catedrático de la UPV/EHU, presidente del DIPC y vice-presidente de Euskampus Fundazioa. El físico, nacido en Isaba, ha sido reconocido por  su dimensión intelectual, científica y humana y los trabajos de investigación y divulgación que ha desarrollado en el campo de la física. Además, el decreto de concesión destaca que Etxenike es uno de los científicos navarros más reconocidos y premiados de todos los tiempos, que ha abordado de manera brillante diferentes temas de la física, compaginados con su excelente labor divulgativa y su compromiso social y cultural. Así pues, esta condecoración se suma a los Premios de  Príncipe de Viana de la Cultura o Príncipe de Asturias de Investigación Científica y Técnica, entre otros reconocimientos, previamente recibidos por el físico roncalés.
